After giving it some thought and seeing as how I don't play AC1 anymore, I tendered my resignation as a Moderator for the CoD to Ellen. Ever since I started playing AC1 at Retail and discovered the CoD (during the Allen Grey years), I've wanted to be a moderator here. Although it took many years for a spot to finally come open, I was glad to have done it. Working under Ophelea was great and then Trai and then Ellen. But as 5 years was enough of playing AC1, so too is being a Moderator on a board for a game I no longer play. I no longer actively contribute much and the boards seem to behave well without me ;)
AC will always be my first love and I have many years of fond memories. I met my wife, Mahret, through AC and cannot thank Turbine enough for creating a game in which people can come together and create a community like AC has created. However, the game has degenerated into an XP-fest and macro-land and everything fun got sucked out. Once people started leaving and WoW came out, I knew it was time to call it quits.
So, when RL issues aren't happening, I'm either reading or playing World of Warcraft and have no plans to return to AC1.
Effective January 1, 2006, I will officially retire from Moderation on the CoD.
So long everyone and thanks for the fun times over the years. :)
