Matrix Online: New Beta Testers FAQ
Filed under: 8 seconds, matrix online

Is the Non-Disclosure Agreement still in effect?
Yes. While we've had to relax enforcement of it to handle the recent influx of users, you are still bound by the NDA. Do not post beta information anywhere but on the official beta message boards.

Where do I register my beta authorization key?
If you just got an authorization code from Fileplanet, please go to
https://members.warnerbros.com/web/registration/enter.jsp to register.

I had a problem during registration, how do I get help?
If you were able to register a beta account name, please go to
http://support.warnerbros.com and submit a petition describing your problem.

If you weren't able to register a beta account name, please send an email to support@thematrixonline.com describing your problem. Note: This is only for users unable to register a beta account name. Other types of email will not be responded to.

Do I need a credit card to participate in beta testing?
Yes. We use the credit card information to verify your personal information used during registration.

Will my credit card be charged anything?
No. A hold of $0.10 US will be temporarily placed on the account during the verification of process. The hold is removed shortly thereafter and nothing is charged to the account.

Where are the beta boards?
You can find the beta boards by clicking the link below the standard message boards or by using this link:

Note: The Matrix Online beta testers are still under a strict NDA. Posting any beta information anywhere but the official beta message boards may result in your removal from the beta testing pool.

Where do I get information once I'm a beta tester?
The two main sources of beta testing information are the beta message boards:

http://thematrixonlineboards.warnerbros.com/newboards/category.jspa?categoryID=2

and the beta website:

http://thematrixonline.warnerbros.com/web/beta.jsp

I'm not in North America, can I still participate in beta testing?
Yes. While we won't have localized versions of the game at launch, you can participate in testing even if you're not in North America.
