Monty...

EST is -4 GTM so in Paris, for example, the first contest will be held around 3pm - 4pm.

PS. EST stands on Eastern Standard Time

12pm = noon
11am = 1 hour before noon

if you want to be technical 12am and 12pm don't exist because of what AM and PM mean.

WTF?! Why is time so hard for you guys. I'm pretty sure this contest is for US people right? If you are from the US I can't fathom how you don't get it.

If you guys are participating from Europe or wherever else I think you're going to find out that the keys wont work for you. This contest was featured on worldofwarcraft.com and not worldofwarcraft.co.uk or elsewhere for a reason.

Even if I'm wrong about the whole EU versus US server thing and you're still confused though open the freaking clock at the bottom right hand corner of your screen and look up Eastern Time (US & Canada) find that its GMT -5:00. You guys might say that Americans are stupid but at least we're not lazy.

Here's my guide on time for lazy people who cant figure out what AM and PM are.

A.M. abbreviation ante meridiem

"an-ti-m&-'ri-dE-&m, -dE-"em
Function: adjective
Etymology: Latin
Date: 1563
Meaning: being before noon
Abbreviation a.m.

P.M. abbreviation post meridiem

Function: adjective
Etymology: Latin
Date: 1647
Meaning: being after noon
Abbreviation p.m.

Anything that is labeled PM if you add 12 hours to it you'll get the 24 based time.

Hope that helps.

Teleios, these contests have been fun for me so far (even with the slow connections early in the week). I'm going to continue participating even though I have already won one....my idea is that IF I win again my prize will be that I get to help judge everyone else on that contest! (depending on the type contest of course haha). If you don't want or don't need another judge that's ok, I just figured I'd ask/offer. Thanks again for all your extra work this week!

The beta codes that you win are both EU and US iirc, atm in UK its 3:33, and the US time is 10:33, alls you need to do take 5 hours off the cloak, not extreamly hard..

US time is not necessarily 10:33. There are many time zones in the US. That is why Teleios specifies EST.
