What is your favorite zone in Azeroth and why?

I would have to say my favorite zone in Azeroth would be Duskwood. It was the first time I really got sucked into the atmosphere of the game. So many great quests and story lines. From the Hermit near the cemetary to the Scyth of Elune quest it all just really draws you in.

Duskwood. It has a really nice eerie feeling and the quests have great storylines. All the ones containing the emblamer, jitters, the worgen series and the scythe of elune.

The place actually feels haunted. :)

My favorite zone is Ashenvale. The colors of the trees, and the lore associated with the zone just make it stand out to me amongst all the other zones.

Barrens, because it reminds of all the work that orc had to put up with when they migrated from their old home.

Wailing Caverns because of it's design and fun I had the first time i set foot into it. Was an awesome experience the for the first dungeon I explored in WoW.

My favorite zone is probably the Barrens. Not only is visually appealing, but it has a nice over all "feel to it". Also, it is a great quest hub for horde from 10-20, and even until 22 if one so desired. After the Barrens one can easily go to ashenvale or stonetalon to continue on past these levels as well, without traveling a long distance. Only downside is the barrens chat >< hehe

Azshara cuz the trees and everything make it beautiful and the naga make it mysterious. There being bloodelves, satyrs, and even dragons make it an exciting zone... and you can't forget the farmers there... They add to the excitement because you get to own them. Then there is azuregos, the pvp fights just to kill the boss, and even some guilds spawn killing him (my guild did that once it was funny).

My favorite zone is the Desolace since it has great quests with the ghosts and the demons and I like that kind of stuff

My favorite zone is Westfall, the rolling hills and farms kind of remind me of home here in the real world:D

Hillsbrad. TM Vs. SS fights rock.

stranglethorn vale best pvp around, its a paranoia zone, always lookin over my shoulder haha.

un'goro because of the dinosaurs!

My favorite is Blackwing Lair because it was our guilds goal and it was just so much more unique than all the others before it with difficult bosses and good lore. we finally beat it and it reamains my favorite

I would have to say Un'goro is my favortie zone. Everything from the lush foliage to the randomly scattered power crystals and the constant threat of devilsaurs adds to the zone's ambience.

Not to mention the farming is great there -- lots of herbs and ore.

My favorite Zone is Mulgore!
The beautiful plains, the atmosphere, the bright sun. I've always enjoyed leveling a Tauren. I also really enjoy the indian motif that most of the area has as a whole. This area couldn't have been better designed in my opinion.

My favorite zone in Azeroth is the Un'Goro crater. I love the ambiance of the environment and the whole "lost world" feeling it has (what with the dinosaurs and such). Also, the quests are very fun and the references they make to outside things like Zelda and Donkey Kong are hilarious. The only thing it needed was a flight point and it has that now :)

Duskwood because of the atmosphere and all the interesting questlines (such as Mor'ladim).

I would say Winterspring, because of all the opportunities that you get. You can get Juju for various dungeon runs, faction with the Timbermaw, and even a swank Frostsaber if you are willing to work for it. Plus, I find it to be one of the most beautiful zones. Plus, it holds sentimental value for me in that it's when I teleported there with my engineering gear, I caught on fire. Not the last time that happened to be sure. It has a lot of variety, and it's a great place to just kill time and have fun.

My favorite zone is Winterspring because of the newly added Snow weather. Also, the flight path approaching along the mountains is a great time. Who doesnt like fighting in the snow?!?

Searing Gorge/Blackrock Mountain. Theres so much PVP possibility there I guess. Fighting in the depths of the cauldron. Jumping from chain to chain and intercepting people heading down to MC in BRM. Even the road leading out of BRM into Burning Steppes is a cool place to fight on. And of course, no guards in Thorium Point.

My favorite zone is Hillsbrad Foothills, because of the pvp combat that happens between all levels of characters.

The Barrens, because it is quite Horde to the core.

My favorite zone right now has got to be Azshara, I love the different scenery, if you want to take a swim in the ocean you can, or would you like to relax on a mountain overlooking the beautiful Naga temples and statues, you can do that also. How bout you just want to bash a few blood elf pointy eared skulls in....yup you can do that to. Maybe killing dragons is your pleasure, guess what? You get to do that also. Basically it is one of the best zones with more stuff to do then you can imagine. I have spent many a nights hanging out there picking herbs....btw the herbs there are the best if you are in to that *wink*

For me it would of to be Stranglethorn vale because of the atomsphere and the constant grey killing! :(

My favorite zone is Westfall. I love the farm looking view and the clear sky. Also, leveling there was the most fun for me because of all the good quests and of course killing Van Cleef. I'll never forget the scarecrows.

Tanaris Because of all the cute goblins and the caverns of time, The beach and pirates gives such a nice feeling. Also i like the turtels

My favorite is Felwood. I like it because along with grinding rep with the timbermaws, you can get vibrant plumes, giant eggs, kill wolves and bears to skin, pick flowers, get ore and just about everything else you do in the game to level professions/use said professions.

The Swamp of Sorrows

Why:

It takes me back to Warcraft 1.

I remember that cartoony orc voice telling me my mission saying, "Blackhand has assigned you to an outpost in the Swamps of Sorrow..." and smiling all the time. I still say it everytime I stroll into the zone.

I got happy chills the 1st time I rode in on my raptor.

The fact that I got beat 'cause I took the time to write out a response that was meaningful to me makes me frowny face. :(

Boy do I hope they stretch the bejesus out of that "meaningful answer" stipulation... If not, Oh well, always tomorrow... *Thumbs Up*

Gotta be the night elf starting area, because of the beautiful surroundings and colours...and of course the ambient music!

My favorite zone would be Stormwind/Elwynn Forest just because I remember the first time I stepped into it, and just went Wow... this is awesome. Like the huge statues and loud music, it made my first time playing just amazing. I loved the little starting area in Elwynn as well because it has it's own small tower you could say. It was a moment of like, Hey, a tower, is this game going to be all castle's and sieges?

Easily Mulgore and the city of Thunder Bluff. It has nice plains and the bluffs/mesas are awesome. Who wouldn't want to live way up in those mesas and be able to overlook the outskirts of Mulgore during a sunrise or sunset? On top of that, where else can you see a pink flamingo?

The zone is very serene and relaxing, rolling plains, nice little lake, but the biggest attraction for me is the city of Thunder Bluff and those great elevators up and down. Not only that but it's such a peaceful zone to hang out in after being in the Crossroads and listening to Barrens general.
