Posts: 85 Joined: 2 Sep 2005 | its a matter of whatever you want to play. if you want pure burst damage, go mage. if you want to be a good solo class with demon pets, go warlock. mage can make food/water which is priceless. depending on what talent lin eyou go (and make sure you complete one with all you want before moving to second) I actually went with a gnome mage and i love it. I two hit monsters all the time. I am a sucker for raw upfront damage. The lock takes a little longer to kill but you survive a lot more since you have a big tank there to act as a wall. go research the classes and see what you like best...my opinion...mages kick ass, more so than warlocks! |
Apprentice Posts: 2 Joined: 27 Dec 2005 | I reccomend both, Warlocks are very nice to have expecially once you get minions, they save you a lot. Mages are also very nice to have, they are extremely power with their spells, so i suggest you make both. |

Hi, I am about to make a new character as a Gnome and I am debating between a Gnome Warlock or a Gnome Mage. I have no experience with Gnomes, or Mages and warlocks for that matter. I have done a Human Palidin and a Dwarf Hunter, but never a Mage or Warlock. What would you recomend?
