I read one post indicating that players will be able to grow beards over time, and you can shave ect...??? what does this mean for dwarves ? will we see beardless dwarves? or will dwarves get a head start on the beard growing race? lol

Yeah I've read nothing of it and don't think it's gonna happen.  They did say in the FAQ that your characters won't age so....

Well the ones in previous MMO's did, as well as lore of dwarves in general so don't be suprized if they do.

Lol, I know. In EQ I made a dwarven female cleric with a really cool "western" style mustache :P Was lots of fun.

It would make the game alot more personal, and i think thats what everyone wants

I have a feeling you may be able to change hairstyles and other superficial character attributes during gameplay, in addition to at the character creation process.  Nothing definite, just a hunch.

If not, I'm positive there will be quite a varied selection of facial hair options for most races.

I personally think gnomes won't have much facial hair. And what about Tauren, because they all have facial hair?

Haha, Lord Raven, perhaps you missed these little fellows!   Gnomes will be kings of facial hair!  Well, moustaches at least! :D

I did miss those guys, but they realy have weird mustaches and I somehow like them. But isn't it weird they have mustaches that are longer then their arms and legs?

The gnomes probably fight with their mustaches, since they have to protect their delicate hands for working with all those cool gadgets.

If gnomes fight with their mustaches, than NE fight with their eyebrows.

It would be nice if as the Dwarven players played longer there beards would grow bigger to show the time they put in the game.

If I remember correctly, and I'm not sure of my source, did the taurens not make a braid in their beard for every kill they had.  I highly doubt it would be including in the game, but it would definatley be a cool feature.  And to make sure the beard doesn't get too crowded, you could only be rewarded a braiding by either killing centaurs or other players.  Come across a tauren with lots of braids and wonder if he's a player killer or a centaur hunter

The beads would be neat. I was lookin at the picture of the Dwarf with those goggles on, I thought those were awesome. Do you think orcs could wear those?

While there aren't any differences in racial visions, will there be ways to modify vision with items?
Yes. As an example, engineers can make spy glasses that will allow your character to see farther.

Well, I guess I could buy a pair from an engineer, or maybe make some.

Where did you "hear" that?

I havn't heard anything like it. It sounds like a feature from The Sims. :(

Personally i dont like the idea so i dont hope its in the game.

i choose a character, play with him for 2 weeks and then suddenly he looks like an old man? Not very cool

If this game actually had growing beards, that would be the most incredible thing I have ever seen since the AI in Unreal Tournament!!

What about tooth decay in Tauren?  Or bone disease in the Forsaken?  The Night Elves would hate ear-hair,  Maybe the Orcs wouldn't mind hairy arm-pits but the humans would object if it happened to them.  Being an old fellah who scalped his head to be "shaven" not "balding", I appreciate the timelessness (two endings?) of my toons.
