End game you wont damage anything close to a mage or rogue, but you wear plate and have at least 6k health so you get to watch them die first at least. Yes, I do love my warrior. I pine for my Beta Undead Warrior though. |

Though I can vouch for them very much being as I only got my warrior to level 12 I think. In terms of dealing damage I think a warrior can deal the damage it needs to in order to maintain agro. Its not gonna be as much as a mage or rogue in the long run, but in a short term " need to grab agro " basis the warrior can do that, either with dmg or taunts. I can say that as a Paladin its hard to maintain agro for a few reasons. Our agro seal generates hate, and we have a talent to increase the hate %, but that dwindles our haste seal which slows us down to much to deal enough dmg to cause the hate. Whereas a warrior while not having the seal, has talents to increase hate, BUT can continously deal dmg with other atk skills, allowing for more threat towards him to be generated. Paladins are void of any real atk skills other then mostly vs. undead or just beneficial. Tarilen |

I should be able to FINSIH a green battle in that time. Protection Talents: if you spec mainly in protection talents it is widely acknowledged that you can't beat any near competent player of another class Rage: there's simply not enough rage when you need it and not enough abilities to spend it on when you have it. the only thing you can do with rage halfway through a battle is spam Heroic Strike (defence stance is the exception to this, but who uses Def stance in any other case but elite zones?) Maybe it's a carry over from my experience as a 'tank' in other MMOG's, but I am loving my sword & board warrior. I enjoy the interplay of abilities, and the attention to the changing situation that effective use of the abilities calls for. I do see, even at my level, that I don't have the unholy fubar that mages seem to have, but that's not really my job. My job is to keep aggro and take my enemy down in stages, while being tough enough to take what they can dish. Having soloed up to +4 mobs at this point I don't see a difficulty. Of coure, I am just starting. I do love the image of creating an opening in my opponent (sunder armor), sticking my sword in with a viscious twist (rend), and finishing them off with a mighty blow (heroic strike) A LOT!!! |

They had adressed these problems two pushes ago. I do no longer miss constantly and will only miss two times at max, or I will miss a few times, mob will dodge, or something else to that effect. I see some pretty good rage generation now, its not the best (like in beta) but its still neat. I do miss my beta warrior, and I am still not so sure about those 'awesome' warrior changes, but I've been playing warrior for a long time. Its still fun for me, it doesn't suck, but it just doesn't appeal to new gamers. I'd say, if you want to have a main role in a group, wear awesome armor that gets your AC well over 7k, do decent enought damage to take out 1-2, or 1-3 mobs at the same time (depending on skill/spec) soloing, then this is your class. Other then that, the mage forum is waiting for you xD |

Granted my warrior is also 35 pts in protection right now, but if specced the right way with my DoW I can dps pretty well. I choose to tank though, because it's waht i love to do! Warrior love from me =) |

First of all the people complaining about Warrior problems usually have it right. There are some problems with Warrior's such as the ability to be kited, fairly easily. Also when we attack bubbles we gain no rage, or switching Bloodrage to periodic damage. Every class has issues, just because people concentrate on them doesn't mean they're "noobs". Also, people who are complaining about miss rates do not understand end-game mechanics or are not 60 yet. You do not spec for DW fury until you have the gear for it, thats all that needs to be said right there. I love my warrior in every aspect of the game except dueling frost mages or good shadow priests. It's a tiny part of the game that I do not enjoy so honestly it doesn't bother me that much. Warrior's have the ability to tank in instances as well as deal more damage than any other class, however it all depends on the gear you have. If you're one of those GM warrior that is DW fury with +5 hit, don't even bother responding. |

The half-assed one that we got together with another class (I forget which other one) was not enough. Heck the amount talents changed for the later class reviews compared to the warrior review just shows it. Consider how much is changing for warriors in BC. We are getting our talent review now, 2 years later. Ultimately I hope they fix us. I know the nerf to rage generation is harsh, but damage is going up across the board so I dont think we will see a difference too much once we reach the highest level with the best weapons. I m Prot spec warrior though and MT for my guild, so I m liking the prot changes a LOT more then other changes. "Devastate" anyone? Ice Iceman, Orc Warrior 70, Mug'thol |

I love my warrior, i think on the official boards no one who likes their warrior can log in and post or something cause all i hear are griefs about it and im sick of it. WHo all love their warrior? I hear a bunch of cruddy remarks that they cant do dmg but what do you expect when you are using a weak 1h sword. 2h and the right spec you can do as much dmg as a mage, almost. i do 100+ on every swing and up to 500 on a crit with my highest using execute 1190 dmg i dont consider that weak. Paladins cant tank like we can either! Let me hear a Hell Yeah! if you love your warrior!
