PvP in groups ...never on your own...because you guys need time to kill..Dammage over Time spells mainly is your power house spells...problem is someone can kill you way before your spells take full effect. You have die hard warlock fans who will preach they do good.....I have yet to have one Warlock take my rogue down one on one....mages every now and then...priests every now and then....but warlocks never. = Its a great PVE class regardless...you will always find groups for dungeon crawls. Rogues pwn almost all softies - (cloth wearing) Its really easy to gank people as a rouge - but in straight our raids your not so effective - which at least on my server is one of the most frequent things you do . But i am also on a PVP server. Mages tear it up there lol esp in groups, but one on one a mage is an easy target-Although since most of your honor is calculted by dmg - mage is the easiest to get honor with. I would say if you want to kill one thing at a time and gank anything before they know whats going on - go rogue -Think of it this way rogues are ultimate intiative winning killers- only a couple classes ( druid and pally and warrior) have a chance to beat a rouge that got intial strike - but you catch one off guard or you get first strike thier effectiveness goes way down. If you want to pwn anything out right with little hardship either way - go Druid or Pally - Ask anyone that has fought a well built pally or Druid - they can be insane - i play a druid and i can kill any class - and the only challenging ones, that i can losre too are rogue with first strike and priests and pallys ...... these are the oly you actually have to play smart to kill.

But yes 90% of the time I win a fight. Usually war or Priest taht give me all the trouble. Every paladin that won...won because he immuned, shielded, flash healed, and waited me out till a priest arrived to save his sorry ass. I dont think my builds that special it just fits my agressive fighting style vs ambush bs rogues. The build I dont have memorized....maybe i should I have been asked this a lot. Combat/assasin -Key things I got on talents Improved: dodge, parry, offhand dmg, sinister strike, and evisceration>...Malice,Lethality,Reposte,Flurry,Sword spec, and 4 points in master of deception. Is what i recall Eq2-burned the Dvd |

Subtlety: 5/5 Camo, 5/5 Opportunity, 3/3 Imp. Ambush Combat: 3/3 Imp. Gouge, 2/2 Imp. Sinister Strike, 3/3 Imp. Backstab Assasination: 3/3 Imp. Eviscerate, 5/5 Malice, 3/3 Ruthlessness, 2/2 Murder, 1/1 Relentless Strikes, 5/5 Lethality, 5/5 Vile Poisons, 1/1 Cold Blood, 5/5 Seal Fate. Currently I'm using a Barman's Shanker in my main hand for the damage, and a Distracting Dagger in my offhand for applying poisons, though I swap my offhand weapon around to a couple different Demon Blades, a Julie's Dagger, and a Keris of Zul'Serak as the situation warrants. I've also been experimenting with a mace in my main hand when I'm in Alterac Valley seeing as how you rarely get to stealth up to anyone with the AOE spam; i cant remember who wrote that (but i think valewalker you were part of that post) an it seemed alright. i do have a druid but i get bored of constantly playing 1 character, especially when you cant get a group for a quest or something. i take it the best race for a rogue is a NE (for alliance) but ill go check that right now. thanks for all your help guys. |

I really want to start a warlock but i am confused as to what to do. I want to have a really good PvP character so i am thinking demonology. Also i would like to know what weapon to use and what race has the best warlock horde and alliance. I would be really grateful for any help. Sorry to be such a noob but i only got the game a few days ago.
