I would like to brew some good talk about warlock strategy.

I have two that i know of, but given that the warlock has the most spells of any class there has to be a ton more.

One is the engineering/hellfire strategy.  Use the device to stop enemies.  Use spell stone to buff yourself.  Use curse of elementals to debuff enemy. ( corruption, and immolation if time premitts) Get in close cast hellfire. (Use lifedrain if you can) Use healthstone to heal afterwards. Fun against low level groups. Negative side costs materials with engineering.

Two is C&R.  It's super simple, but only works on certain classes.  It doesnt work on paladins, priests, warriors, or hunters, if they are smart.  Really fun against slow rogues.  Really fun against low character enemies  that cant keep up or slow npc enemies.  Cast immolation, then run and cast corruption and curse of agony.  You keep going they receive damage if they cant keep up great fun.  Curse and run works with potions of swiftness or swim speed potions.

this is the weirdest strategy i have ever heard of...i will post later when i have more time.

Speaking as one on the receiving end, the drill is:

FEAR, (spells of choice), FEAR, (additional spells of choice), and MORE FEAR....

Repeat until you achiece the desired results....

I love killing you warlocks....i usually go after people over my rogues level and win. lvl 35 vs 47 hunter etc...i win.

Consider that strategy you guys use needs to be adjusted per race/class you go after. This fear/dot or dd and repeat doesnt work all the time.

For example my counter to you guys:  Mind Numb Poison,Crippling in offhand.  Because I am undead...I have my Will of the Forsaken ready to fire.  I also will kidney shot,mace stun talent you to death.  I do that to people who are way higher level than me.....I droped a 46 priest because I kept him stunned for long time...and my mind numb poison just makes it easyer to kick you into mute.

You want to counter a rogue....first move I suggest Fear off the bat...even if undead ...make him blow that will of forsaken......stick your pet to him and dot so he cant vanish and keep your distance.....buy yourself time......when the will wears off turn around from your running....Fear dot fear dot.....will work

Hopefully this gives you some insight on rogue tactic and ideas to counter a undead rogue. Wont always work..

Ah yes the Undead classes, the only race who has the ability to turn more than 2 abilities useless (Charm, Fear) with a FAR too good racial ability. All I can do against a rogue is charm him with my succubus, and hope I can get ehough distances and dot/chickenrun till he dies, note I die alot more than I kill rogues.

Fear breaks quite often if any damage is added, sprint pretty much counters CoEX, while crippling poison renders our ability = zero =/

Vale...be glad you are not on my server...;-)  That was just an invite to come and pwn you. I do have a lowbe on Daggerspine...but he's my hordie so it won't do me any good to go hunting for ya. 

Has no one ever headr of soul link? Demonology is pwing pvp right now, between soul link, saccing the vw, and instant cast vw, you pretty much have UBER health....This is mostly likely one oif the best chances for a warlock to alst long against a rogue (one of our hardest opponents if you didnt notice), and if your sitting there laughing, saying yeah but soul link and vw both take time to cast, you'll be dead...With properly specc'd demonology skills, their both instant (i think soulink is alrdy insants but the vw will be after talents). And oh yeahm what about that stupid WotF? nope, YOU OUTLAST THEM! wait for them to blow the wotf by opeing with a fear (good idea to get suppresion for this, resists go dawn more than you think) and after that, their pretty much putty in your hands...ragdolls for you to toy with, as the uber warlock of ultimate deadly deathness n doom with double killer evil satanic powerhungry might! MWAHAHAHA <- too many descriptors but eh, oh well

Damn Vale!  You must be picking some dumb Warlocks to go up against!  heh   Man I wish you were on my server.  I'd make a date to meet you.  I love that about Rogues...cocky..cocky...cocky  heh.  Oh and by the way, we don't have to sick pet on you and DOT to see you. We do this anyway, but can see you regardless..heh.  I love it when I'm staring at a rogue who thinks he's sneaking up on me, my fingers are just twitching on my kill buttons, won't tell you which ones though, I want some more good Warlock's on your server to teach you what they already know, "Rogues are overrated" heh. But you keep picking dummies if it makes you feel better.   See you around "even without Pet and DOT"...heh.

I have have an awsome combo for priests. You fear and mana drain until they are out of mana, then they're screwed. Don't puts your DOTs on them because it only shortens the length of their run time. It also helps if you have 2 talent points to turn mana drain into mana burn.

A Druid will pwn a warlock if played right every time :P

Very old posts and pretty weak shit talk on old posts. And I hold a pretty damn good rep with PvP....I beat the crap out of most classes ....and big headed warriors who think rogues are easy.....I beat down.

So wana keep shit talking...ask people about Cava of Creeping Death.....I hold my own and very damn well.

And all warlocks die when I find them easily.  Keep shit talking. I know..my guild knows..and peopel who live in Av with me knows....I hand people there asses.
