Ive searched the forum and found nothing on soul stones and now im a bit scared cause people here know everything about the warcraft universum!

There will be soul stones in the game right?

I think you might be thinking of the Diablo Universe....

Soul stones give the ability to reincarnate someone during battle at the place he died

Reincarnate is the revial stones from Warcraft 3 series, however they might be consider a type of soul stones. We haven't heard anything about these stones, but I doubt they will be in, since a Warrior could really pack his stuff up with those stones, of course it could be solved by making a cooldown, but I really doubt. But as Quest rewards perhaps ?

In the magazine it said that this was warlock only (make and use) So this will be for groups

Soulstone (requires Soul Shard) - This is the Warlock's version of Resurrection. The Warlock creates a Soulstone. Any player who dies while carrying a Soulstone can return to life by using the stone. Do not use a Soulstone while you are alive, or you will instantly kill yourself.

thats the first rank spell the second rank does 160 dmg. the third does 300

you have to have soul shards to summon every pet except for the imp which is the first pet you get.

Since soul stones can be used after death to restore it's owner to life."  Is it possible for a Warlock to give one to another player? Like a friend of mine is going to be a warrior, and I a Warlock so could I give a soul stone to him so he can be revived?

im pretty sure that i read something to that effect, and since it doesnt say just for warlocks so it should be okay.  but do any of you beta testers know?

Soul shards are what warlocks use to create things like blood stones and mana stones, as well as summon their pets. They can also make soul stones with these, which are a one-time (each) revival tool to instantly revive you when fallen. No cooldown has been mentioned, but if you're dying fast enough to implement a cool-down, then it wouldn't really matter how many soul stones you have, you'd be dying too fast to make any real impact on whatever it is you're dying for.

So does that mean you can give soul stones to others? Or is it just for Warlocks?

Soul Stones can be gived to others, however the skill is given at very high levels and seem to be costly as well as rare. (The stones themselves has cooldown, so that you cannot stack lot's of Soul Stones)

To me this is the one thing in a party that as a warlock I am wanted for most, casting a soulstone on the group priest. That way if things get bad and the party gets wiped the priest can come back and return the rest of us to life. I am an almost pure destriction warlock and at level 50 can deal over 1500 damage with a single spell, but those do take time to cast and so rely heavliy on a priest for dungeon work to keep me alive. With the advantage of a soulstone a party become almost immune to a wipe. Healthstones also play a large advantage in parties as they do not affect the cooldown time of potions so can be used in cunjunction with mana potions to help keep casters going.
