Hmm I have a friend that doesn't get why he can't me a human shaman it just a different type of healer./ Voodoo. what do you think.

Humans lack the basic ability to get in touch with earth.  They are a more 'civilized' race and have forgotten what it's like to 'work' with earth rather than forcing the earth to do what they want.

If you are wondering why night elves can't be shamans either....that answer is pretty simple, they are just too stupid to be shamans.

Ok FIrst that is almost exectly what I told him but he still doesn't get it. He keeps bring up like witch doctors and other things

If he's read anything about the Warcraft lore he'd understand why there is restrictions on race/class/faction. Shamans are spellcasters/melee that ask for the powers of elementals, while Humans are more "forcers" of the elemental spells.

Thats like giving the Night Elve's a Warlock.

Human Shaman...thats a NO NO.

Horde are the perfect alliance. If they were to give Alliance Shaman's then they would have to give the Horde Paladins :ROFL: :ROFL: :ROFL:

When has a Human/civilized race ever ever been allowed to be a Shaman? As far as I can tell, never.

In the burning crusade the Draenei will be able to be shamen.

The reason that no other Alliance races can be shamen is the tribal aspect of it, Trolls, Tauren, and orcs all seem to have a strong tribal aspect around them.

in the expasion, tier 4 will offer spec choices for hybrids.

Here's also somethign to keep in mind. The humans were not even able to posses magic till the elves gave them some simplistic spells to combat the trolls long ago. The Humans have always been a race that prefers melee and arms. Humans have never been able to comprehend any sort of magic to be decently proficient with it. Yes, there was Dalaran, but not everyone there was Human. There also have never been Human Druids. Simply, Druidism and Shamanism are ancient arts that only the deeply fanatic Night Elves and Tauren have been able to posses. Trolls are/were close in the acencestry lines with Elves, making them another ancient creature able to practice Shamanism. The Orcs were born shamanisms on Draenor. They would have been a content race if not for the corruption from the Legion. It was this alone that gave Shamanism a bad name.
