I would suggest grouping with a warrior or a hunter and his pet. You'll be able to give good heals at level 8 (I believe you recieve level 2 healing then) and you will also be able to add a good amount of damage. If you have the money I would also get an axe weapon proficiency. You will most likely start out using a stave (staff). I believe the going rate to learn new weapons right now is 10 Silver, and that kind of money can be made in a few hours once you reach level 6 or so.</SPAN> |
Killed 10 Boars Posts: 22 Joined: 21 Nov 2004 | Warrior/Rogue/Hunter w/pet are all good duo's for the shaman. The GREAT thing about the Shaman is that they are the swiss army knives of WoW. They can tank a little, nuke a little, and then heal everyone all in the same fight. I went into Ragefire Chasm and Wailing Caverns (tough instance zones) with a group of 5 Shaman. Noone died in either. Shaman are the perfect counterpart to any other class. Even other Shaman!

Killed 10 Boars Posts: 10 Joined: 20 Aug 2005 | I usually goes with a warlock and we use the void as tank,im healing the void... its a nice comb when you are questing or pvp.. in the instance its best to have shaman,priest,warlock,warrior and rouge/mage.. i really like playing with the warlock... we did the lvl 50 elite quests in hinterlands with 2 shamans and 2 warlocks and we were all 48-50... we used one shaman as tank and the other as healer and the warlocks just blasted.. i would be really happy to get more tips bout good groups... |
