1) Can I use Daggers and Swords at the same time? and do many people do that?

2) Can I use swords from lvl 1 to 59 and then use daggers at level 60? Is this commonly done? and will it affect my character in anyway?

1) Yes, and yes. A lot of people main hand a dagger so they can use abilities that require it, and offhand a high dps sword.
2.) Yes, and it depends on your spec. A few abilites require a main hand dagger to use. Some people switch weapons from daggers to swords in combat though.
