ive been looking for some better alchemy stuff and im not sure who to gain rep with, any suggestions?

you should gain rep with every one because you never know when it might some in handy, there are rep basised alchem with the trolls in stv and some in other places

Actually, for high lvl alchemy you only need rep with ZG and Thorium Brotherhood. Fully exhalted with ZG because they offer 3 recipes being...
1. At friendly you can purchase Greater Dreamless Sleep potion which does..
Puts the imbiber to sleep for 12 seconds. While asleep the imbiber heals for 2100 health and 2100 mana.
2. At honored you get Major Troll's Blood potion(real money maker)
Regens 20 hp ever 5/sec for one hour.
3. At revered you can buy Mageblood Potion which is really nice for casters.
Regens 12 mana every 5/sec for one hour.
4. At Exhalted you can get Living Action Potion
Makes you immune to stun and movement impairing effects for the next 5 seconds. Also removes current movement and stun effects.

THEN for Thorium Brotherhood you can get Transmute Heart of Fire at Friendly. Very handy because you can turn one heart of fire into 3 elemental fire which are used in Greater Fire Resist pots and I'm sure you understand how important these are!

And if you want, you can do the quest line for Scholo which you start outside from the dead people. At the end of that quest chain you buy the recipe for Major Mana Potion or you can just run it over and over and pray it drops off Gandling.
