The Best priest races are Dwarf if you're alliance and Undead if you're horde.

go shadow/disc untill you are about lv 58 then respec if you want to to holy/disc

hey, a priest is a relaxing and easy class to train and play. u are most advantage when there are few priest player around, by as it is no one can stop people from playing priest. thus its best to not advertise your class. haha, priest will dislike other priest and clothies as they take your ricebow or share of the goodies.

Luckily most players dislike to play healer and prefer to dsp and tank esp in pvp servers. by the way pvp server is not so good for priest. more advantage will be at pve environment. pvp is quite bad for priest as we can't solo and if u are a dps priest u are naturally not a holy healing priest.

priest is a rich class with free exp and easy gameplay. 1st, u don't need to use ammo or food for pets, this save gold. 2nd priest are rarely attacked or dead, hence their equip durability drop very slowly(poor warriors, pala and druids). this save repair cost and thus gold.

priest is best when in groups for quest, instances , raids. remember best when in a group. this gives u protection, free share of gold and free exp from your members kills. also priest only take charge of healing hence can have an easy time without the need to dps. topping the dps meter is way harder than topping the healing meter as u are the only or main healer.

from level 1 to 10 its a bleeze for any class and can be done in a few hours for the normal player. level 10 to 16 would be solo questing with unlimited quests. this is not that relaxing as u are soloing thus need to tank, dps and heal all in one.

after level 16 its a piece of cake all the way in instances with free exp, gold and equips. can make good friends too, bonus! instances pull you from 16 to 22 in one or two days, they are VC(Deadmines) & WC(Wailing Carvens).

from level 22 proceed to BFD(BlackFatoms Deeps) in ashenvale & SFK(ShadowFang Keep) in silverpine forest. these drop good sweet blue items and gives gold. by 22 u should have around 15 gold in your pocket by normal play. if u want to make money tactic its in the professions which i am not going to discuess now. 22 to 25 should take less than two days.

from 25 go to stockades in SW city and continus instances.. its basically instance all the way if u don't wish to grind and want to level fast. instancing for priest is good easy gameplay with free exp, gold, items and tons of fun plus friends.

i am lazy to continue from here.. i'll just list the instances from 25 onwards to 55.

after stockades is gromergen > Scarlet Monastry > Zul" Farakk > Mara > Sunken Temple (Nice Dragonkin) > BlackRock Downs

this should get you to a level 53 priest. enjoy and be a shadow 1st, later at 50+ if wish to can respec at the cost of 1g to be holy.

level 53 to 55 is abit more complicated.. from 55 onwards is more complicated and 20 men raids are messy affairs. haha. end game 40 men raids at level 58 to 60 is just pure fun and very organised. sweet gameplay and tons of friends. gold at this level is just dust. the fun begins now!

Of Course we may be bored and create alt chars. Start on a new realm and be the top 50 players! lol. sooner than u realise you will have a few 60s chars and quite bored of the game.. Come to forum and teach newbies the way to success, cheers!

It is Possible to get from level 1 to 60 in two weeks or even one week if u are willing to grind and have a few mates to help you play while you are at work. ^_^

Im going to start playing as an undead priest. I love to heal others. I had one account, but it was ended in the first week for some reason it said trial. I was confused but had plenty of fun playing as a priest. Undead is what I would go for. Mostly because they can consume humanoids for health and long underwater breathing (300% longer than normal if you didnt check).

hint: whats fun with shadow priest (undead) if you raiding.... here are two stories of what I managed to do.

1. Southshore world raid... me being horde with the rest of the group we took over a tower right outside of southshore. The alliance was trying to get to the top or atleast trying to I would mind control a alliance up to the top and let go of him in order to be attacked by 20 of my closest friends... heh alliance stopped trying to take the tower back after about 10 kills that way..

2. Same raid I was down by the water and I mind controlled a paladin, ran him into the water and started to swin down. the mind control started to ware off and he started to swing upwards I was starting to swin down and then I mind controlled him again. and made him swim down farther... he died trying to swim to the surface as I was floating there with my 300% breathing.. lol it was awesome

I only got to level 10 before my trial ran out. I only got that far because I got a warrior to lvl 20 first. Anyways, I had fun with him sometimes. I would go around casting my pitiful buff on everyone in sight, once in a while getting the strangely satisfying, "Thanks dude" or "Thanks man!" Sometimes people gave buffs in return. I liked saving random peoples butts when I stumbled across them when they had a sliver of health left.
Once, the day before the trial expired, I stumbled across gnomregan in my search for quests. I knew I didn't stand a chance in there, but I wanted to see at least a little of it, so I followed a high level group who killed all the npcs. I was looking around when I saw a body on the ground. I thought to myself, "I'll resurrect him in case he's online." When nothing happened I turned away and kept looking around. After a while I decided to catch up with the group, so I turned around and BOOM! The dead guy's standing right in front of me. Something about that seemed very funny to me, possibly the fright I got.
Dead guy: "Thanks man."
Me: (Still processing this in my brain)
Dead guy: "Heal my friend."
Me: (Still kinda confused, goes over and ressurects another body that hadn't been noticed and heals her)
Dead guy: "Thanks." (Runs off into the dungeon with his friend)
For some reason, that seemed both funny and cool to me. Cool as in how I was able to help them so easily...? Whatever.
