I am also going to start off as a dwarf paladin, hands down. I mean who doesn't love a dwarf?

I posted a related subject over in the dwarf column , it can be found here...

I'll be making a Human Paladin.  Humans have it all.  The height, the horses, the extra skill points.

Dwarfs are just the most awesome race of all the 8 races, but I don't think a dwarf is so very nice as a paladin.

I mean hasen't the paladin allways been a human?

I plan to make my second-char a human paladin, and for the fun of it I wish to create a Templar Knights guild, consisting only of Paladins:D Probably not the best balanced guild, or the most dangerous one, but still fun.

Although dwarwen paladins makes sence cause it would be boring with a human only class. But personally I'm not a dwarwen kind of guy. I wanna play a tall and mighty paladin and humans just fit that discription perfectly.

Im gonna play a dwarf paladin. I mean, wouldn't a dwarf look better with a great hammer than a human?

Ah, but a human paladin, in full mail, with a 2h sword and a well designed tabard, looks pretty sweet.

Exactly how "big" are the tabards? Is it just a "shirt", or is it more like a tunic?

I'm definitely going human pally, for the same reasons as Revith. The dwarves has some really viking-look beards though.

Tabards cover your chest, a bit of your upper part of your legs, but you can always take it off =].

Definately Human, although Dwarves are great and I don't see any other races playing as a Paladin other than these two, Dwarves seem a little too rugged.  I will probbaly make a Dwarven Warrior as well as a character to play for fun.

Well since we've come back to this thread, I've changed my mind, and I'm going to have a Human Paladin. Because Paladin's now have Chargers as mounts, and I think that Dwarves riding massive horses look a little silly, I'm now going to have a Male Human Paladin, with, a nice sword, guild tabard and a Charger.

Based on starting stats the Dwarf will be able to punch a little harder and take more damage than the human.  I will probably be a dwarf Paladin.

Human.

Playing a little of the open beta, I noticed that spirit boost helps to regen your mana faster which paladins tend to use a lot of if they play healer as well as for judging mobs.  Also having the sword/mace bonus from humans basically means you're hitting more often than the dwarf, and we don't really get a bonus from guns (since we can't use guns).

My paladin for stress/OB was dwarven and I loved her, she was the cutest thing, lol. But I'll probably remake her in live as human, mainly because my husband said I should make a sexy human pali. :P

Mines a Dwarf Paladin called Fortis (Latin for Brave fact Fans!).

I have a question..I know that Paladins get a free mount at lvl 40...will a dwarf get a horse as their mount? And what other things does a paladin have to give up for a steed?

DM: From the deepest crypts crawls the undead thread, it's death rattle shakes you to your core. What foul necromantic forces brought forth this foul beast.
Cleric: I attempt to turn undead.
DM: You can't this is a WoW forum D&D magic does not work here.
Cleric: Well guys we are @#$%*%!
Wizard: Agreed, I believe this Necrothread was created by a dread ForumLych, impossible to stop, without a sense of humor.
Fighter: Very well I throw a badge or some other posting reward down at the necrothread and prepare a tactical retreat.
DM: The necrothread pauses at your offer, snaps up the reward and slinks off deeper into the internet.
Rogue: Phwew! That was close... I wonder if there are even more ancient Necrothreads ahead of us?
Fighter: We will only know when we continue on our journey through the crypts of Warcry.

I'm a dwarf as well.

I would have picked human, but then I thought of this awesome name, and...

Human provides the greatest overall benefits. To be a paladin with perception, indeed any class with perception - is overpowered. Combine that with the +10% rep and, well, the practically pointless +spirit buff....it's definately worth it.
