OK after some patches..there is no longer the evocation talent anymore. It is now..a trainable spell!! BUT that just leaves one question. Where are we going to put that one point?! I have no idea where to put it. That is why I didnt put any points anywhere. Well .. now im lvl 12 so all i have are 3 points. Just dont want to mess up then spend gold to fix it. You guys have any ideas? Plz someone respond!!

Well, first you need to decide if you're going fire or frost as a primary damage spell. From there, figure out a good leveling build and go that way. Your first five points are usually pretty easy, as they go into improved fireball or improved frostbolt.

What spell element do you use most? If fire, learn a fire talent. If arcane, learn a arcane talent. If frost, learn a frost talent.

OK guys after extensive research I have found the dam best Fire/Frost mage Build. I calculated with the lesser crits on spells I wasnt to put 5/5 in certain talents ie:2/3 on Improve scorch you get the crit from Frost .. Its a 50/50 u freeze and still get to come out with major DSP. The Ice Block is a dam good talent. I see people using this Build from now on. This Bild is now refered as the "Icyhot" BUILD good for PVP/ Raiding. I know a distance shot is good with a quick lesser time but I rather have my enemies near me so I know how to get away from them to cause more damage. Freeze, Blink and Hit repeat with counter spells crits will come out and PWNED...

This Build is currently being pass around already by my findings. take a look and let me know. Just know as a mage I always Carrie several pots of Mana cuz its that last burst or hit at times that makes the decisive decision!!!
