Hey,
Played WoW once before at the begining of Euro release for 2 month but stoped playing due to different reasons. Well i am returning tomorrow and going to play the class i like most in game mages :)

Well my question is what is the current talent build to use level 10-60 to level fast[ish] :) Is it fire or frost or...? If anyone could help me out with this or even maybe link/supply a good leveling talent build or advice pelase, Id really appritiate it.

Personally I preferred a fire build until early 50s, at which point I switched to a frost build for the efficiency (far greater damage per mana spent than with a fire build). If I were to level up again, I'd go with this build:

Arcane Talents (21 points)

# Improved Arcane Missiles - 5/5 points
Gives you a 100% chance to avoid interruption caused by damage while channeling Arcane Missiles.

# Arcane Concentration - 5/5 points
Gives you a 10% chance of entering a Clearcasting state after any damage spell hits a target. The Clearcasting state reduces the mana cost of your next damage spell by 100%.

# Evocation - 1/1 point
While channeling this spell, your mana regeneration is active and increased by 1500%. Lasts 8 seconds.

# Improved Arcane Explosion - 5/5 points
Reduces the casting time of your Arcane Explosion by 1.5 seconds.

# Arcane Meditation - 4/5 points
Allows 12% of your Mana regeneration to continue while casting.

# Presence of Mind - 1/1 point
When activated, your next Mage spell with a casting time less than 10 seconds becomes an instant cast spell.

Fire Talents (30 points)

# Improved Fireball - 5/5 points
Reduces the casting time of your Fireball by 0.5 seconds.

# Impact - 5/5 points
Gives your fire spells a 10% chance to stun the taget for 2 seconds.

# Flame Throwing - 2/2 points
Increases the range of your fire spells by 6 yards.

# Ignite - 5/5 points
Your critical strikes from fire damage spells cause the target to burn for an additional 40% of your spell's damage over 4 seconds.

# Improved Fire Blast - 1/5 point
Reduces the cooldown of your Fire Blast spell by 0.5 seconds.

# Burning Soul - 3/3 points
Gives your fire spells a 65% chance to not lose casting time when you take damage.

# Pyroblast - 1/1 point
Hurls an immense fiery boulder that causes 162.8 to 214.5 fire damage and an additional 61.6 damage over 12 seconds.

# Critical Mass - 3/3 points
Increases the critical strike chance of your fire spells by 6%.

# Fire Power - 5/5 points
Increases the damage done by your fire spells by 10%.

The only important thing is to have all 5 points in improved arcane explosion by about level 35. I'd probably go improved fireball, flame throwing, a point in improved fire blast, then start on the arcane tree through evocation and improved arcane explosion. Its up to you from there.

Thanks for the reply just like i was hoping sounds a good build :) but 1 thing about what you say... why is it eneded 5 points in arcane explosion by level 35?

Level 35 is about when you start getting serious doing instances, and one of a mage's most important jobs is doing AE in instances since no other classes do it well. This greatly increases a mage's AE ability so is extremely useful when you start doing more difficult instances.

Mages played well die the  most^^  Im full fire at lvl 48. IM filling all my fire up.  In maraudon I just combust Aoe...fireblast is fast cool down same with scorch....I love it...dragon ball z mage >.>    <,<    I burn through 5k mana in one group pull but they all die fast.

Arcane/fire is good spec for mana management and still having the punch fire offers.  Purely Dammage is all Fire...With fire set on.  Very very nasty dammage......after fireball,blast,scorch done in few seconds. 

I found Reviths build to be O.K.  but Full Fire is great for me since I want to lay down the law in pvp.

Improved scorch,fireblast and that improved fire dot......goes a llong way.  But with this build you invest in Major Mana potions since you dont have the arcane line. But I respeced over 5 times now. And I tried full arcane...arcane/fire  ...arcane/ice ...full ice....now on full fire.  Fire all the way for  me.  I dunno just my style of play.

My fire aoe does about 500 ....it ticks for about 53 dmg a tick.  Once I get more of the dmg boost on the ticks im sure it will do near 80 a tick.  Nova + Fire Aoe on a group= Ouch.  I plan on putting 5 in Ice effect talent to improve my nova but thats it.
