Looking For Group Posts: 137 Joined: 2 Nov 2006 | You're a hunter...why do you care if you're using a 2h axe, a dagger, or fist weapons? You should be shooting, not meleeing. If you want to level in a hurry, do quests. Period. The people who hammer out a lot of levels really fast (I'm one of the faster ones you'll find) have a routine of how they group quests...Group them as in which ones to do when, which ones to do together, etc. I solo...period. When I want to have a good time with people, I group. When I want to level, I solo. End of story. As to the where, that depends on what you've done. Have a dps pet that can take some hits. For this, I usually use a cat, though a wolf is a good substitute. YMMV, as they say. If you've stuck mostly to Eastern Kingdoms, go to Auberdine. Run to Menethil Harbor, or get a port if you are too scared to make the run (I make the run at level 10 all the time with alts...hehe but I've been doing that since the deathflop days). Take the boat to Auberdine, bind at the inn, and grab the quests... Take them all (except noted in a moment) and talk to all npc's to make sure you aren't missing any that are grey (why grey? I'll tell you that in a minute too). Don't take any quests from Dwarves there. Simple reason...one is a pain, and hard, without water breathing (potion or spell) and takes too long for the reward you get. The other really takes a group on the second part of the chain it opens, so it's not worth it. You're talking about fast leveling and that's not going to happen with this quest. Why grey quests? Easy... Many of the grey ones are chain-starters that will give you decent xp (and rep!) for easy quests. In fact, with Auberdine, if you skip the ones that are grey, you're going to not be able to do a goodly portion of the quests there at all. Don't forget to check the wanted poster outside the inn. As a hunter, you'll be able to knock that one out while others struggle. Now, if you've never been there before, I'm not going to spoil it by telling you how to group the quests...though I will say that you should go to Bashal'Aran before you do anything else, and be carrying your little orb used to catch a rabid thistle bear. ;) At any rate, learn to use your pet as a tanking dot, learn how to group your quests, and you can pound out the levels. I've been able to level a hunter to 70 (WITH tradeskills) in as little as 5.5 days "/played" when I don't get distracted or need to do it for some reason... |

can anyone tell me how a lvl 18 hunter (dwarf, two hand axe) can lvl up in a hurry?
