Hi to all ,

I'm just asking what are the differences from the dragonscale, tribal and elemental leatherworking jobs.

All I know is that the dragonscale leatherworkers craft mail armours but the other two don't. Is there other differences? And which is more wise to choose for a hunter dwarf? Tnx for any help

If you want to make some of your own mail armor, then Dragonscale for a Hunter.

Dadanox - lvl 60 Hunter
Wahu - Lvl 60 Priest

I have a dwarf hunter and has the least agi compared to the other hunter classes and i'm finding what profesion is best for it. Most people say that dragonscale leatherworking are best for hunters but non of the armours increase the agi. I was thinking of going to elemental leatherworking because it increases the agi and beacause of this this increases my range attack power and my atk speed.

So which one is better  dragonscale or elemental?

And can you please say why dragonscale is best for hunters. Tnx for any repleis :)

Well, considering the fact that hunters wear mail post-40, you, as a hunter, should probably go dragonscale. Tribal LW is mainly for druids, and Elemental LW is best for rogues. Plus, with dragonscale LW, you will learn how to make Black Dragonscale Armor, which is important to use in Molten Core until you get your Giantstalker Armor.

Hook me up with some +atk speed armor, that'd make my day. =)

At any rate, you want to wear mail. And while Black Dragonscale gear doesn't add to agility, it adds attack power. A lot of attack power. It just takes time to farm scales, that's probably the only downside. The Black Dragonscale Boots pattern is honored with Thorium Brotherhood, which isn't that much of a pain to get. It's the hardest/most expensive set piece to make: it requires cores from Molten Core. Other than that, if you're looking for gear for yourself, get dragonscale. If you want to make gear for other classes, pick up a different specialty than dragonscale. Like Electrotoxin said, elemental is best for rogues and tribal is best for druids.

I have a Druid (as well as my Hunter alt which is why I am looking at this forum) who does leather. I took Tribal for the reason mentioned above, it is good gear for Druids. However, I have made very little for myself. I have made several pieces for Druid friends though. It seems the overall most difficult is Elemental as the Elemental [insert element here] mats needed can be a pain to acquire. I agree that as a mail wearing Hunter, Dragonscale would be the way to go. Plus, from what I have seen on my server, DS gear sells best in the AH. Thus you can make money while leveling your prrfession skills.
