Hi guys!
I am playing the beta like 30 minutes a day now, and I play Druid.
I am at lvl 10 and I have the option of choosing the Bear Form. Now, which is better for soloing? The Bear or the Cat? Because the Cat isn't until 20 and I assume it is slightly more like... better for soloing... But.. Which one?

Please give me your beta account. I'll play at least 8 hours a day lol. I would say the cat is better for solo'n. It has a rogue sneak technique which I forget what the name is, and also does more damage, you'd have to just pick your fights well. The bear, warrior design, will take damage better but won't do as much damage. Once again pick your fights.

I would give you my beta account, if it was legal... I would probably give it away permanently, if it was legal...
Don't bother begging me, I won't be visiting these forums for a while.

Cat form works out better for soloing.  Although you lose a lot of health with it, your DPS is very high in comparison to the bear form.  Bear form is best used in groups where you need to be the 2nd tank, because it can take quite the beating.

Why not do the quest and get the Bear form now? At level 16 you can quest for the Sea Lion aquatic form then at 20 get the Cat form, etc. In other words, get them all.

Totally agree.  Playing a NE Druid is so much fun even without shapeshifting but WoW! to transform (and visually, too) is amazing.  You have so many different ways of tackling a situation, solo or in a party, now.  I've stopped transforming into the bear just because my druid was having a hard time because I've learnt it's not the best tactic - if you're up against a rogue-type mob then start as a bear - but that's taken a lot of fun and death to realise.  I'm at lvl 14 now and I'm still getting used to the bear - plus figuring out how to apply talents - and already I'm close to getting aquatic form - this is so enjoyable!

I prefer the cat form it worked better with me but you cant try all you know, they each have their own strengths and weaknesses.
