Apprentice Posts: 3 Joined: 18 Mar 2007 | I'm a new user to scout and have been suffering exactly the same problem. I have also been having the same problem as Phaid's "wowlauncher not launcing WOW" post. Strangely enough despite having played for a week or so with Scout as an add-on i cannot see any entries on the contributors list and can only assume that no data is being posted back to you guys. Any advice ? |

It checks a couple places when trying to start WoW, first it looks for teh registry entry from when you ran the WoW installer, then it checks common locations like C:\program files\world fo warcraft\ Look in your wowupload.cfg file (open with notepad or wordpad) and find the following two lines: The 'launch' line should say 'WoW.exe', and the path line should say the directory where your WoW.exe file is located. If it's different, try changing it to the actual location and running the launcher. If the launcher hasn't been running successfully then you wouldn't have been uploading. If it still won't work, try downloading the launcher again and using that just to make sure nothing got somehow corrupted. |

Have checked the CFG file - all ok. Mostly seems to be intermittantly but especially prevalent at the Bank with more than one bag open (both inv & bank bags). Will try and get a complete error message posted asap. By the way - still no contributions shown so nothing seems to be getting through for one reason or another. i'm assuming that the error messages means that nothing is being recorded properly, hence the lack of info. |

Since 2.07 I've been receiving a nil value error when I exit from speaking to a vendor NPC, a banker NPC, or accept a quest. The actual error message I'm getting is:
Interface\AddOns\collector\collector.lua:1121:attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)
