So, I was sitting here surfing around your site taking in as much WoW knowledge as my brain can possibly hold (you know, like ya do), when I saw the link for the Scout program.

<click>

Okay, it looks similar to the Thottbot program and all that jazz.... looks good..... nothing bad.... help with the site get more information. Well, I'm all up for that. Oh wait, what's that. a .exe file. Well, **CENSORED for our younger audience**.

Okay, enough of that story. I'm not sure what is involved as I'm not any sort of programmer (mac or otherwise), but if there was a Scout program for the mac, I'd use it. So, if you wondered if there was a market for it, there is. **raises hand**

Other than that, great idea.

Yeah, I've had a few requests for this and do know how to do it. Unfortunately, I've been really busy lately with restructuring the database backend and rewriting the update scripts. ...annnnnnd I want to rewrite the addon, as it isn't grabbing quite everything I'd like from the game.

It's definitely high on my list once I get the actual database optimized again though! (The code for a mac client is about 80% written - and has been for a couple months :( )

/me goes *pop*

If I understand correcctly, that the more people use this the more accurate and compelete inforimation becomes available, then I would most certainly be happy to help. I am also never going to get windows. (if anything I might one day use linux) So it would be appreciated if this project is completed. If you need anyone to test it, I'm here!
