Are there any sign beside the battlefields scenarios of the wearabouts of the armies?

I never saw during beta any sign of them beside that the story and npc sayig that the armies are far away and the battlefields we have in the game arnt big enough for the wearabout of the whole army of typ Azeroth or any other.

The only positions I can think of is that they are in is in the world of  Draenor, the Northrend or a yet unknown continent east or west of the great continents we know of if there is any more land but what I could understand there only was one piece of land that got splitted into two big ones after the first war against the Burning Legion.

Why Drarnor: There they could be fighting against the Draenei, the Blood Elfs of Kael and the Naga armies of Illidian as Illidan (if he is still alive even if he was just left wounded n the end of TFT but probaly surrounded Arthas forces) as they seem to be the demon Kil'jaeden new forces as what I could understand of the ending of the human campaign of TFT.

Why Northrend: Well thats the most direct threat agains the world with Ner'zhul and if they cant hold him at bay and he conqueres the Plaguelands he would be the greates sole force in the world of Azeroth. And if Ner'zhul got defeated the Alliance and Horde(with not the undead included) could turn against the undead of Undercity and get rid of the direct threats against life in Azeroth.

I think the armies should just be in the borders of the Horde and the Alliance.

Or they could have all been sucked to the bottom of the sea by the great Maelstorm if they tried to move the whole armies by sea. :GRIN:

Kkloe: That's a very good point. I have not even thought of this, that these armies should be *somewhere*.

But I can't see how they can be in northrend. The only ones trying to stop Arthas is Illidan, neither horde nor alliance is represented, and only a small group of NE went to draenor to capture illidan.

They really should have been out fighting.

i always thought maybe there was some area you could go to in Kalimdor or Azoroeth where a war is going on that i havent explored yet, but, apparently im wrong, thats really odd the armies arent to be found.

You ARE the armies.
Unless you've never fought in PvP and thus don't have a rank.
You think they just call you Private (or Grand Marshal) for kicks? =P

In the human starting area you are a deputy of the SW guards aka human army.
