I believe WoW was a lot better Pre-BC. Why? well, if you notice that now that BC came out a lot of people have the same armor and to me that's just not to fun. I mean, Outlands are great and flying mounts as well, plus Belfs and Dranei are cool additions to WoW, but the new Tier sets look so bland and repetative, to see the same armor everywhere gets pretty annoying.

Knowing this I wonder how Wrath of the Lich King is going to be like. Another 10 levels, a new area, more raids/instances, plus the Death Knights ( D: ), and many more new features. Also, to you people who have done the new Raids like Black temple and Hyjal, you have some pretty sick gear thats hard to get and not everyone has, expecially from Black Temple. Well, with the level cap at 80, BT will be alot easier and now people who gawked at your awesome gear will now have it, again, a repetative armor.

Don't get me wrong, i'm excited for the new expansion just like all WoW fanatics. But no matter what new adding Blizzard puts into WoW, I still miss Pre-BC, those were the good days.

Nerdy is when you and your friends grab compressed air used for computer cleaning and use them to play tag XD. It's still fun though.

I agree with you in a sense that they should have had some type of merchant for paint pots or somthing like that make it what you want most mmo's have that. Other then that the game must go on eventually you would have been asking for more content and armor. They can't make everything unique. Maybe more colors. They sure do love that purple.

I only read the first sentence in this post.. "I believe WoW was a lot better Pre-BC"
I don't have to read any further;

Yes, I agree.

I challenge you. Either with my blood elf warlock or Dranei Shaman.

Well, some things I agree with and somethings I don't, the armor I can agree with, but think of how much new looks they did put in, then think of how much longer it would have taken blizzard to come up with new patches and expansions if they made almost everything new looking, that would take AGES!! While I agree with you there, changing colors and the like is more time saving, and can some times be just what the item needs.

Round and Round and Round and Round and Round we go!

They're currently hiring 3d character/weapons artists which may explain the lack of variety in their weapons/armor.

"Wrath of the Lich King..."

Hmm, I've heard that before...

Hmm... I feel that pre-BC WoW felt more lore oriented, as opposed to just rep/gear grinding. Or maybe running countless Outland based instances has just made BC go bland on my gamer palate.

What? I think the endgame in BC is way better than original WoW. Back in original WoW, you could either raid, aim for High Warlord in PvP (meaning "you" were in fact eight different people) or sit and play with the gravel at the side of the road.

Now I can at least run heroics, PvP without being eight people, raid in raids that don't suck donkeyballs (.......Molten Core..........) and... uh, yeah. That's about it.

Of course, everyone having the exact same armor has never been cool. But I think it was also worse in pre-BC when every single Hunter and his mother was wearing Giantstalker or Pinkstalker (...Dragonstalker, maybe it was?).
(Also, make new names for Hunter sets not being named "Something Stalker", pretty please ^_^)

I think the Burning Crusade is alot more friendly towards people who dont have time to raid every night and the pvp is improved.

Err... BC had some great features like Arena and Flying mounts, Superb zone design (Nagrand) and Awesome looking armor (Season 4 armor). It gave people new stuff to try rather than be stuck playing in AQ40. Even if BC DIDN'T come out, people would still just ignore the raids except a select few due to just knowing that it has **** for armor. You say that the tier system looks the same but think of this, Blizzard has a select few people working 20/7 on new content for players like dungeons armor and such. They don't have all the time in the world to be changing EVERYTHING so its different. Also they have a very strict timeline. So take that into perspective and then you appreciate armor. Yes some armor looks repeated but other times they pull out some majorly cool stuff.
