<DIV>
<DIV>O.k Your GM Archanis was extremely rude and suspended me for a very bad reason. First he talked to me about my name RoflCopterx. He said i must change my name. I wasn't aware of the name policy so I renamed him to Roffulcopter. He then said that name was offensive. I tried to ask him about other names and he replied to one and then said is there anything else I can assist you with. I said yes more names. He then booted me to rename my charachter again. So I renamed my charachter RalphCopter. Upon login he said that I was now suspended because of my name. I find this completely unfair because I was asking him about names and then when I choose one I am suspended for it....</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Second of all I find your dude/leet policy completely rediculous. This isnt a roleplaying server and our names should be allowed as long as they are not offensive. My name wasn't...Even if you still say my name is restricted because of your policy WHY AM I SUSPENDED? I should not be if I was asking about the names and he DID NOT REPLY. Isn't the customer always right? This is a rediculous act by one of your employees. I came to this game hearing that Blizzard was "leet" in games and in Law systems and I find this. Please Respond WITH A NON MACROED MESSAGE. Im tired of seeing the exact same word for word emails being sent out. By doing this your being hypocrtical don't you think? Botting macros are bannable so why not ban yourselves? I dont think you care at all about what I say if all you do is press one button and I get some horrible response. Thank you for reading this....</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>(not part of message) Now tell me I am not completely right? I pwned Blizzards face lets see what they gotta say now.</DIV></DIV>

That name came up a while back in november on official boards.  There is some kind of sexual connotation associated with the copter thing....

All I know is it is in the Bad Names book for blizzard.  Also playing Devils Advocate.

From the GMs view: YOu may have come off as smart ass and just making minor changes to the same type of name could have just rubed him the wrong way.

Anyway...regardless of being a paying customer. Doesnt mean "Customer is always correct". That mentallity has to go from other forums I have read GM complaints in.  I am sure the GM followed policy to the letter and his job isnt Customer Service it is called Game Master aka the Technical Help aka Police of WoW.

And sorry you had problems with your naming thing but I suspect the GM probably took your attitude as smart ass with him.  I would have. Especially after I told you dont use that name but yet you try to modify it to keep the same name almost.  That can easily be taken as being a smart ass by me.

Also keep in mind how many tickets you think he had to deal with before you. How many smart ass kids did he have to deal with for his shift.  he has a job to do....and hes gona do it.  He doesnt care about being your buddy...just enforcing what ever procedures and policy he is given to follow.

You forget they have jobs to do. You dont have to like there decisions. Posting on warcry does nothing either but what?  Seeking some sympathy?  None here.

They do have a phone number if you are really that upset call them. In my view a mans just doing his job.  You want a better response avoid the GM was evil attitude and argue there policy for name discrepencies is lame.

The problem is there policy and what they consider bad names.  RP server is more strict but even not on RP tehre are some name rules.  I cant have Aznsuck for a name no matter what server I am on.

but mostly being banned was overkill.....I would have just given you a name I picked if I felt you were being a smart ass about it.  End of story then .....but I DO NOT think the punishment fits the crime at all either.

/takes devils advocates hat off.

Next time maybe read the naming policy and come up with a name that suits it. Just a suggestion.

And, just a guess, but you were probably suspended for cursing out the GM. Yes, that's frowned upon.

What's so horrible about the name Roflcopterix? Seriously, some people are just sissies to be offended by something like that >.>

Chuck Norris once roundhouse-kicked a guy in the face so hard, that he was really hurt, and put some ice on it, but he still had a bruise for like 6 days.

Who knows but Blizz has a list of things that you can not name yourself...that happens to be one..for sexual conotation reasons.

Some thing  offend others that may not bother us.  Im sure if I called you slant eye you would shrug that off.

I would personally break my foot off in a persons mouth for uttering that near me.

I actually have to applaud anyone who can make something sexual or derogatory out of the whole copter phenomena and have it catch on enough that a big company like Blizz has to ban the name from the game.
