 Posts: 2210 Joined: 21 Jan 2004   | so damn popular they cant keep up with it.....thats a good and bad thing...but hell yes...Stop the madness.....they need to tweak things....offer server transfers to overpopulated servers and offer which servers per horde or alliance.....im sure they can balance some populations this way. Its all a matter of when......I think they should hire temps and triple there developer support staff for just the time being......get this fixed now....asap....and then launch WOW sales across the board again.... Never thought a game being so popular can be so bad^^......records busting.....servers overworked and burdened......amazing how big this was. Just think when battlegrounds is in place...more PVPers will wana join ......most I know will only come when theres a point to PVP...taking over keeps,zones, rewards....etc......and its comming.. Just thinking about all those wanting to buy this game having to wait.....there gona get slammed again with sales....lets hope they prepare for a huge server registration when they do....or im gona have to send some hate mail to customer service for there stupidity. LOL. I wonder how long its going to take Blizz to fix all this stuff. Server lag, unbalanced servers, broken classes, tons of little bugs, adding battlegrounds, pvp honor system. Thats all the stuff they have admitted and promised to fix I think. Hero classes (expansion??) whats the status on those? |

Above is an example of the quote function. I never insulted your grammatical skills so I don't see the relevance of the "proper english" comment. I sometimes type in abbreviations, sorry. My sig is not gibberish btw (by the way) it includes character info for my FFXI and WoW characters. What I was commenting on was the arrogance in your post. This is an informational post. Now consider for a moment that not everyone may be abreast of all the latest and greatest in the world of gaming (as you so obviously are) and that they might come here for their information. Hmmm, now all of a sudden your comment seems out of line, does it not? and your sig is still ugly.

WIth anything they say will come.....i take it as a grain of salt. As for sigs.....No I dont have one...But yes Scyth....Yours is ugly but so what...Atleast you have one.... Posts: 2210 Joined: 21 Jan 2004 | I think FFXI had a great Server system....>From character creation you couldnt pick your server really...it sent you to the server by some random formula they did.....but it balanced out the servers. Now before you jump the gun. Friends can still join friends via ingame world pass purchases.....they left growth room on servers for this invite abillity.....so friends can be together..... Example server supports 5k people...but has a cap around 3.5k....leaving room for world pass invites to get buddys on the server with them. Im sure theres more to there formula....but It really did spread out people evenly on servers ...well not perfectly but way better than WOW does it. Thats the current problem is how they distribute population with servers..>I do agree once server hits a certain population it should be available to create on unless given some world pass by a friend over email to get on the server.... Also every damn time servers go down for the 20 main heavy pops...daggerspine is overloaded every damn time...and causing us to get lag outs and super slow downs to open windows for quests.... Its gotten pretty bad....so when servers go down....the spill over hits the low pop servers giving us a headache... Dominos effect...pretty crapy also. Eq2-burned the Dvd |
